Our utmost desire is that when you visit, you will be lifted nearer to God during
your time with us. Know that when you show up for worship, we will never do
anything to embarass you or single you out. You are always free to come in
and just experience our worship together without any obligation or
expectations. We have every intention to try to meet every guest who comes
in our doors, though we must admit we are not always completely successful in
this endeavor. Our sincere prayer is that when you visit, you will be warmly
welcomed and feel as if this is your home.
Our Sunday worship services are very basic and simple, usually lasting about
an hour. We sing songs of praise to God and encouragement to one another;
we pray together; we listen to a sermon from our preacher, and we offer an
invitation for anyone who needs to respond to the message; we also take up a
monetary collection, though no visitors are ever asked to give. But the focal
point of what we do every Sunday is when we partake of the Lord's Supper
(communion) together.
